You know you are getting old when....

• You feel dizzy after doing only 1 summersault
• You are tired after 10 minutes of trampoline jumping
• Children call your friend (and probably you too) 'you' the fancy way (this one is only funny in Dutch probably)
• You still feel a bit woozy the day after
• Your muscles hurt the day after

Went to jump XL yesterday! A belated birthday presents from my friends. It is a giant trampoline park. How awesome! With my gymnastic past I absolutely loved it. But trying to do some of the tricks I just to be able to do in a blink of eye, made me realize I have become old.... I did try some tricks and still some of them are 'in my DNA'. How cool! But being 16 years out of the gymnast scene (how cool), sure had its traces. Is was scared doing some tricks. Like the backflip, I just was too scared to try. I did it 2 times in the pit. I just didn't dare it on the trampoline. And after my first summersault. I was just dizzy! phew.. Never had that back in the good ol' days. However it was a blast. And I sure would like to do it again!

But jeez, I an getting old!

I turned 28!

Hooray! I turned 28! I had to laugh at this quote above. I already noticed that hangovers could last 2 days when I was 27, but is is true. I sure am getting older (which is of course actually a good thing), and these are things that make me realize it. 28 years on planet earth. Let's see what number 29 will bring! I hope year full of love with and between my friends and family. Getting to terms with the only constant in life, change. And accepting that everything (especially work related) will keep on changing. I hope I can find the space to deal with this.

March 1st.... Happy Birthday

Celebrated my 27th birthday today. 27!! Had a lovely weekend with family. And with the spring sun it was even more nice. The first 2 winter months have past. Spring is just around te corner. Thank you for all the birthday wishes! I feel blessed with all the love. Next weekend I will celebrate my birthday with friends. So another great weekend coming up.

Musical

Tomorrow my boyfriend and I are going to visit a Musical. I bought tickets for my boyfriends birthday in july, but now it is finally showtime. It's about a soldier of our country during World War II. I am not that big of a history fanatic and especially not about wars so at first I thought it wasn't the musical for me. But as it seems to be a spectacular event, even besides the story of the musical, I will give it a shot! We are making a weekend of it as we decided to spent the night at a hotel. Just the two of us enjoying the weekend.

My boyfriend turned 30

Yesterday, July 20th, is my boyfriends birthday. This year he turned 30! A milestone, a new 'semester' in life. In your thirties people are settling in careers, houses and go start a family. But then, I am still four years away from turning 30 :) Everything will come when the time is right. My boyfriend is the first in our group to reach the age of 30. The rest will follow in the upcoming years. Hopefully it is going to be a lot of memorable birthday parties. Of course you should celebrate each birthday, but especially these special one. No more ' twenty-someting' from now on, the next 10 years will be 'thirty'-something'. Waauw he is getting old ;)

Of course we had to celebrate his birthday, so saturday july 19th we invites family and friends to join us in the celebration birthday party. With some cool beer and other drinks we held a garden party as the whether was about 34 degrees Celcius. Had a wonderful time which started in the late afternoon when our friends came to decorate our front yard! Also the back of the house and our garden were decorated all in style. We had a really fun evening and went to bed around 04.00 am. Thanks everyone for the amazing party! Also on behave of my boyfriend.

It's my birthday

Wow, a year flew by. Today I turned 25! Tonight I'm throwing a party for my friends. It's going to be fun!
