About me

Hi I'm Ixis, 28 years old and from the Netherlands. In May 2011 I decided to create my own blog as I was fascinated and curious by the concept. As I was finishing my master thesis, I was soon going to be finished with University and really ready for the big world What was I going to do? To prevent the famous 'black hole' I started an online 'diary'. Ixis Ideas was the result.

August 31st of 2011 was a big day for me. It was the day I graduated for my Master, which simultaneously meant that my days as a student were over. My job hunt begun, a job was found through which I entered the working life, and a job was lost so I had to start this job hunt all over again. I found a new job and from januari 2016 I have a fixed contract! Lot's of things going on at work so I am definitely not bored. Sometimes even a bit stressed. So it is up to me to deal with that. If things at work are outside of my influence bubble. The only thing I can do is cope accordingly so it won't affect me as a person.

Me and boyfriend decided to live together and we bought our first home about 3,5 years ago. Time sure does go fast. We made this house our home. We like to travel the world and see lots of beautiful things and places of this big beautiful planet. I made myself a little travel bucket list. See my travel stories for a little bit more info.

I'm trying to find my way in the big world of jobs, commitments, living together and all the responsibilities that come with it. This blog gives you a peek into my live, my laughter, my worries and shares my thoughts and ideas about the world with you.
